Verses on Love, Lust and Flame

Saudha in partnership with the Gronthee is presenting this unique event that features a wide selection of Bengali poetry on sensuality from the early age e.g. Charyapada (730AD), medieval age to modern age with English translation.
Live music at the background and the colour of the twilight will fade in and fade out to the flow of recitation to intensify the meaning and the mood of spoken words.
Directed and anchored by the director of Saudha T M Ahmed Kaysher. the event brings haunting performances by a group of leading spoken-word artists e.g. Poppy Shahnaz, Manash Chowdhury, Tanjina Nur E Siddique, Shamsuzzoha, Urmee Mazhar, Zaki Rezwana Anwar, David Lee Morgan and more with live music from Amith Dey.
