Saudha Jibanananda Festival

Saudha Jibanananda Festival is returning for the 7th year to celebrate the legacy of the finest Bengali Poet of 20th Century Jibanananda Das.
In collaboration with London Bangladesh Centre, the festival is bringing new, engaging and inclusive performances, poetry-theatres based on Jibanananda's translated poetry, music based on his poems, as well as insightful talks to re-interpret his literary works in the context of today's world literature.
The festival is also observing the death anniversary of a leading German poet Rainer Maria Rilke focusing on the philosophical connection of poetic vision between Jibanananda and Rilke.
