Victor Hugo Through Bengali Mystics | Alliance Francaise De Dhaka | A Saudha Production

A lyrical Saudha production combining English translations of Victor Hugo’s poetry with Bengali mystical songs.
Directed by poet Ahmed Kaysher, the performance explores themes of love, memory, loss, and transcendence inspired by Léopoldine Hugo, Victor Hugo’s beloved daughter.
This is a Saudha production based on Hugo's phenomenalpoetry with complementing and re-interpretative metaphysical music of Bengal featuring Munasir Kamal on spoken-word, Sabbir Shah on Ektara Italian Jazz singer Martha (Vocal), Rumman on violin/ Sorode, Pablo Khaled on Visual Interpretation, Tarek Amin on Vocal and Ahmed Kaysher on main vocal.
